Ein stolzes Alter für eine Stadt, die bis vor hundert Jahren noch eher ein Dorf war bzw. eine Ansammlung von kleinen Siedlungen. Und in der man systematisch alles Alte zerstört. Da bleiben nur die goldenen Luftballons. Wie sagte ein Freund: nobody cares!

Ein kleiner Fleck Kunstrasen hat auch seinen Reiz, während der Polizist die Strasse absperrt und dem Staatschef, der hinter schwarz-schwarzen Scheiben sitzt, die Ehre erweist. Mutter Armenia grüsst aus der Ferne.

Geschmückt wird natürlich auch, immerhin soll es ja auch "other images from the city" geben. Z.B. Bären mit Nasenring. Das macht müde und jeder Platz ist recht zum schlafen. Good night and good luck.
